Delhi, India is home to the public state institution known as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha institution (GGSIPU), which was founded in 1998. It provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in a number of fields, including as the humanities, engineering, management, law, and medical sciences. Accredited with a 'A' rating by NAAC and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), GGSIPU is renowned for its robust industrial partnerships and demanding academic framework.

The Government of Delhi established Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), often referred to as IP University, in 1998 under the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. The university wants to offer professional education with a focus on skill-based learning, research, and innovation.

With more than 120 affiliated institutions, including both government and private colleges, dispersed around Delhi-NCR, GGSIPU boasts a reputable main campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. B.Tech, MBA, BBA, MCA, MBBS, LLB, B.Ed, and PhD degrees are among the more than 200 programs the university provides. Entrance exams such as IPU CET, JEE Main, NEET, CAT, CLAT, and others are used to determine admission to the majority of courses.

The university is renowned for its robust academic framework and uses a semester-based educational model. In order to help students move into prosperous employment, it also places a strong emphasis on industry partnerships, entrepreneurial endeavors, and placement assistance.
